Product Features
1. Fast Curing
At 25°C and 50% relative humidity, 100 RTV Silicone Sealant has a tack-free time of just 10-15 minutes and fully cures within 24 hours. This rapid cure significantly improves application efficiency, making it suitable for assembly line production and high-paced projects.
2. Excellent Adhesion
The unique formula imparts excellent adhesion (tensile strength ≥ 1.5 MPa) to glass, aluminum, stainless steel, ceramics, and some plastics, maintaining long-term, stable bonding without the need for a primer.
3. High Weather and Aging Resistance
This sealant has passed 1000 hours of UV aging testing and maintains its elasticity and gloss, without chalking or yellowing. It ensures stable and reliable sealing in environments with high temperatures, sunlight, and humidity.
4. High Elasticity and Displacement Resistance
The cured silicone rubber exhibits an excellent elastic modulus and can withstand ±25% structural displacement, making it suitable for sealing curtain wall joints, expansion joints, and vibration-prone areas.
5. Excellent Temperature Resistance
100 RTV Silicone Sealant can withstand long-term use within a temperature range of -50°C to +180°C, and short-term temperatures up to 200°C. It maintains stable performance in refrigerated environments and around high-temperature mechanical components.
6. Water and Mold Resistance
Tests show that the colloid meets the IPX7 waterproof rating after formation. The anti-fungal agent also effectively prevents mold growth in humid environments.
7. Easy Application and High Compatibility
The single-component package can be extruded directly using a standard adhesive gun, eliminating the need for mixing or specialized equipment. It exhibits excellent leveling and a short working time, facilitating precise application and secondary finishing.
Applications
1. Curtain Walls and Glazing
100 RTV Silicone Sealant is widely used for waterproofing and sealing glass curtain walls, aluminum window frames, skylights, and skylights. Its transparent formula enhances the aesthetics of glazing seams.
2. Automotive and Vehicle Manufacturing

Usage Method
- The substrates and auxiliary materials used in the project must be tested for adhesion/compatibility.
- Air circulation must be maintained in the construction and curing environment;
- The substrate bonding surface must be clean, dry and free from dust, oil and water.
Restriction of Usage
- Not suitable for coated glass assembly
- Not suitable for stone, concrete, zinc iron and other materials surface
- Not suitable for use when the surface temperature of the substrate is lower than 6℃ or higher than 40℃.

Maintenance
- Generally no maintenance is required. If the silicone structural sealant seam is damaged, remove the ineffective silicone structural sealant, clean the substrate surface, and then fill it with silicone structural sealant.
