Polymer Cementitious Waterproof Coating

Item Number :CLF202

Colour: White

Polymer Cementitious Waterproof Coating is a two-component, polymer-modified cementitious waterproofing material formulated with a polymer emulsion, high-quality cement, graded aggregate, and carefully selected additives. This product utilizes the synergistic effects of chemical crosslinking and physical fillers to form a flexible yet rigid waterproof layer. It is widely used in waterproofing, moisture-proofing, and anti-seepage projects for building structures.

It is widely used in waterproofing, moisture-proofing, and anti-seepage projects for building structures.

Product Features

1. Dual Waterproofing Mechanism

The polymer emulsion chemically reacts with the cement base to form a dense waterproof membrane, while the aggregate simultaneously fills the micropores of the base surface, achieving a “flexible and rigid” waterproofing effect. Test data shows that a 1.0mm thick coating can withstand a water seepage pressure exceeding 1.5MPa.

2. Excellent Adhesion

The bond strength to the concrete base is ≥2.0MPa, effectively preventing hollowing and peeling. It is particularly suitable for construction on damp surfaces, shortening construction time by over 30%.

3. Environmentally friendly and non-toxic formula

Certified by the China Environmental Labeling Certification, the VOC content is less than 50g/L, far below the national standard limit, making it suitable for waterproofing indoor enclosed spaces.

4. Weather and Aging Resistance

After 2000 hours of accelerated aging testing, the coating’s tensile strength retention rate exceeded 85%, meeting the requirements of extreme operating temperatures ranging from -30°C to +90°C.

5. High Application Efficiency

This single-component product is ready for use right out of the bucket. Its brush/roller application rate reaches 8-10 m2/person/hour. The recommended dosage is 1.5-2.0 kg/m²; the actual dosage should be adjusted based on the surface flatness.

Application Scenarios

1. Basement Waterproofing

For cracks and leakage in concrete structures, Type II product is applied throughout to create a continuous waterproof layer. This, combined with a drainage system, addresses seepage caused by groundwater pressure.

2. Elevator Shaft Waterproofing

Applying Type III high-elasticity product to elevator shaft walls effectively resists micro-vibrations caused by elevator operation, preventing cracking and leakage in the concrete structure. The product has a service life of over 15 years.

3. Roof Waterproofing Repair

To address leaks in the joints of color-coated steel roofs, a 1.5mm thick spray coating is applied to create a seamless waterproof membrane, resolving the problem of cracking caused by overlapping traditional roll materials and shortening the construction period by 50%.

4. Bathroom Pipe Root Treatment

A 1.5mm thick Type I product is applied around pipes passing through the floor slab, reinforced with a non-woven fabric layer to form a flexible waterstop, effectively addressing leaks caused by pipe settlement.

5. Subway Tunnel Moisture-Proofing System

A 2.0mm thick coating is sprayed on the tunnel concrete lining surface, combined with drainage blind ditches to control relative humidity below 70%, preventing moisture-induced short circuits in electrical equipment and ensuring safe operation.

6. Bridge Expansion Joint Waterproofing

An elastic waterproof coating is applied on both sides of the expansion joint, combined with a polyurethane sealant, to create a multi-layer waterproofing line that accommodates ±50mm displacement and addresses steel reinforcement corrosion caused by bridge structure leakage.

Care and Maintenance

1. Post-application Curing

After the coating has completely set, apply spray curing 3-4 times daily for 3 consecutive days to prevent premature dehydration and cracking.

2. Finished Product Protection

After the waterproofing layer has passed inspection, apply the protective layer promptly to prevent mechanical damage. Do not walk on the protective layer before application.

3. Regular Inspections

Inspect the integrity of the waterproofing layer every six months, focusing on stress concentration areas such as pipe bases and corners. Repair any damage promptly.

4. Cleaning and Maintenance

Use a neutral detergent to remove stains from the coating surface. Avoid using sharp tools such as steel wool to prevent scratching the waterproof membrane.

5. Repair Specifications

If the damaged area is less than 0.1 m2, clean the base layer and apply the original product. Larger damage requires complete removal and re-applying to ensure the continuity of the waterproofing layer.

Execution Standard

GB/T23445-2009

Precaution

  1. Can not be constructed below 0℃℃ or in the rain.
  2. Cement should be 32.5(R) or above ordinary silicate cement.
  1. Paint available time: under the condition of ambient temperature of 20°C, the paint available time is about 1 hour. Site ambient temperature is low, the available time is longer; vice versa, shorter. After the material is outdated and hardened, it cannot be reused with water. Low ambient temperature, high humidity and poor ventilation, the drying time will be longer, and vice versa.
  2. The construction of protective layer is carried out after the coating film is dry and solid and accepted.
